Cobalt developed our dream basement!
We hired Cobalt to finish our basement which happened to have a tight time frame as well which Cobalt accepted and met the challenge. We were pregnant with twins at the time; they started in February 2012 and we needed the basement to be done by Easter before the twins arrived. They are professional with both the contract side of things as well as the construction side. The contract was clear and concise and we were able to walk around with either the Trades, Greg or Keith on a regular basis to make sure everything was being done to everyones expectations and satisfaction. Whenever there was a challenge both Keith and Greg were on top of it and it was resolved as quickly as possible. We found the process as stress free as a renovation could get! Cobalt also provides a great warranty which eased our minds in case anything came up after the fact and needed to be adjusted. We did have a switch on an external wall that needed extra insulation and Keith was there in a very timely manner to get that fixed.
Since I was pregnant (and we had a toddler) we were worried about dust or any chemicals that would be used. They made sure that everything was as safe as possible and when they needed to use toxic chemicals (lacquer on our railings) they warned us ahead of time so we could make arrangements. They actually tried to work with our schedule as much as possible to do the lacquer so that we weren’t too inconvienced. When the job was done they include all cleaning as well as furnace cleaning which was reassuring and much appreciated.
Cobalt is very professional, reliable, dependable and provide exceptional customer service which is harder and harder to find these days. They also provide great care as if it were their home. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a big or small job. Cobalt and their Trades will get it done and will work hard to be sure that your expectations are met and that you are satisfied with the work. Renovations are not easy to go through but Cobalt will make it as painless and stress free as possible!
